ADMISSION POLICY
The Martins Ferry Christian School offers students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. MFCS does not discriminate on the basis of color, race, or national or ethnic origin in the administration of it's educational policies, admission policies, or with respect to employment of faculty and administrative staff.
Students will be admitted to grades kindergarten and first in accordance with the following policy adopted by the Martins Ferry Christian School Board in accordance with H.B. 383: Kindergarten students must be 5 years old by August 1st of the year of attendance; first grade students must be 6 years old by August 1st of the year of attendance. For all other grades, placement for students is determined by testing, previous grade attainment, and observation at the admission/placement interview.
